Mark has been performing since the age of four. In his youth he participated in the Talented Arts program, Angel's Academy of Drama, and numerous acting workshops. He also studied many styles of dance from the likes of Javier's Dance Studio, Broadway Dance Studio in New York, and several studios in the Los Angeles area. After an early graduation from high school he continued to perform his craft professionally in New York, California, and Louisiana. He was cast in movies, sitcoms, and commercials as well as dancing in numerous professional stage productions. Mark not only perfected his craft on stage, he mastered the technical side as well. Mark has been a stage manager, set designer and constructor, lighting/sound director, and technical manager for numerous productions.
While doing an onstage production of "Little Shop of Horrors" at Covington's Skyfire Theater, Mark met and acted alongside David Storm. While working together they instantly formed a friendship. After not talking for several years, Mark accidentally "butt-dialed" David Storm and an opportunity of a lifetime presented itself, David asked Mark to become part of Omega Sound and Entertainment. David mentored Mark and broke him into the business. Mark has since adopted the name DJ Mark Steel as a tribute to his late brother who was a Superman extremist. Mark is a consummate performer and world-class entertainer who enjoys pleasing any audience anytime the opportunity presents itself.
